EMPORIA—The Franklin High School softball team lost 15-0 on the road Wed., March 13, at Greensville High School.
“The team played really well despite them being a young team,” said FHS Coach Angel Cashwell. “Our defense was really strong.”
Starting pitcher, junior Caitlin Morris, pitched the entire game, as senior Cornesha Wellons was the Lady Broncos catcher for the entire game.
“Both girls really did a great job – it was Caitlin’s first game,” Cashwell said.

The Lady Broncos will next host Northampton High School at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, March 19, at Armory Field.
