SMITHFIELD—Dawn Holcombe Wright, 85, of Smithfield died March 7, 2013 at Sunrise of Bon Air Assisted Living in Richmond, VA. Dawn was born in Southampton County, VA on March 19, 1927.

She is survived by her daughter, Dawn Ann Wright Griffin of Smithfield, VA; her former daughter-in-law, Betsy W. Rhodes and her husband Bernard Rhodes of Richmond, VA; a sister, Willis H. Barnes and husband Cliff of Franklin, VA and a brother, Marvin Holcombe of Ephrata, PA.

A graveside service will be held at St. Luke’s Memorial Park on Sunday, March 10, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Jeff Cannon and Rev. Joe Savinsky officiating.
