Windsor cotton grower re-elected chairman of Cotton Council

MEMPHIS, Tenn.—Windsor cotton grower James Jones was re-elected Virginia chairman of the National Cotton Council’s American Cotton Producers.

Jones also was re-elected vice chairman of the National Cotton Council’s Virginia unit. Also re-elected was Randy Everett, a producer from Stony Creek as chairman; and Joey Doyle, a producer in Emporia.

All were named during the recent 2013 NCC Annual Meeting in Memphis.

As the unifying force of the U.S. cotton industry, the Memphis-based National Cotton Council brings together industry representatives from the 17 cotton-producing states to establish policies reflecting the common interests and promoting mutual benefits for its broad membership and ancillary industries.
