PDCCC appoints three deans

FRANKLIN—Paul D. Camp Community College has named Dr. Candace Rogers dean of nursing and allied health, Renee Felts dean of the Franklin campus and occupational/technical programs and Trina Jones dean of student services.

“These individuals have demonstrated the skills, talents and dedication to our college,” said PDCCC President Dr. Paul Wm. Conco. “I am very pleased that we now have these stellar administrators to support the education of students in our communities.”

Rogers will oversee the applied health science program. She has been with the college for more than eight years and launched its nursing programs. She manages faculty, facilities, budgets, programs, accreditation and licensing issues, and student selection, retention and success issues in this division.

Felts has served numerous roles and held several leadership positions with the college. Her job includes overseeing occupational and technical faculty, facilities, programs, curriculum, schedules, academic issues, budgets and related duties. She served as the interim dean for more than a year.

Jones has served as a professional counselor since August 2007 and did a stint as interim dean of student services. Her position includes managing admissions, student activities and records, student recruitment and retention, budgets, the enrollment management team and customer service values.

This position also includes student counseling and teaching six credit hours each year.
