Nursing students recognized at ceremony

FRANKLIN—A capping and lamp lighting ceremony was recently held for students from the Southampton Memorial Hospital’s School of Practical Nursing.
The ceremony marked the end of the pre-clinical phase and the beginning of the clinical phase of the program.
Members of the Class of 2013 are Brittney Lowe, Brandi Spivey, Shani Privott, Shannon Vaughan, Kayla Chandler, Brittany Burgess, Sarah Bradshaw, Heather Jones, Donna Davis, Miriah Smith, Tori Ricks, Abby Griffin, Dominique Everett, Ashley Boyd, Michelle Lewis, Regina White, LaSandra Dallas-Mounger and Nan Evans.
The students will complete the program in September.
