IVOR—John Marcus Foster, 49, died Saturday after he was hit by a motorist while walking along Route 460 in Ivor.

He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer; sons, Tony and Brian, mother, Margaret Foster; brother, Dallas Foster; and sister, Chrissy Foster.

A memorial service will be held 6p.m. Thursday, Feb. 14, at the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., 1501 Colonial Ave., Norfolk.
