NORFOLK—Arthur L. Lamison, 65, of Suffolk and formerly of Courtland, died Monday, Feb. 11, 2013, at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.

The funeral will be held 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 17, at Bryant Baptist Church in Courtland. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mr. Lamison retired from the Army.

He is survived by siblings Edna Goodman of Suffolk, Mary Blanks of Virginia Beach, Lillian Lemelle of Norfolk, Doretha Lamison Brown of Lanham, Md., Letha Lamison White of Bowie, Md., and Leon, Cleveland and Roland Lamison, all of Richmond.
