JENNINGS, La.—Our beloved Jane Broussard Henderson passed away gently into the arms of Jesus on February 7, 2013, at the age of 83.

Funeral services will be held at Matthews & Son Funeral Home in Jennings, La., on Saturday, February 9, 2013, at 1 p.m. with Father Jeff Starkovich officiating her services. Mrs. Henderson will be laid to rest in St. Anthony Cemetery.

Jane was born in Gueydan, La., to the late Dewey Broussard and the late Clementine Conner Broussard on September 8, 1929.

She was a homemaker and also a housekeeper.

She was very dearly loved and will be greatly missed.

Jane is survived by her two beloved sons, Joseph Henderson of Gulfport, Miss., and Jimmy Henderson and his wife, Theresa, of Franklin, Va.; five grandchildren, Mary, Tara, Angie, Eric and Scott; and five great-grandchildren, Taylor, Christopher, Nathan, Trey and Philip.

She also leaves to cherish her memories one brother, Leroy Broussard of Basile; and three sisters, Edwina Hebert of Jennings, Marida Mallett of Lake Charles and Marie Martin of Bayou Vista.

Jane now rests in Heaven with her beloved family who preceded her in death: Her parents, Dewey and Clementine C. Broussard; her husband, Virgil Pearl Henderson; three brothers, Percy, Adam and Edwin Broussard; and one sister, Rosa Mae Abshire.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at Matthews & Son Funeral Home in Jennings, La., on Friday, February 8, from 4:30 p.m. until 9 p.m. with a rosary recited at 7 p.m.

Visiting hours will resume on Saturday at 8 a.m. until the time of her funeral service.
