Virginia N. Denison

SUFFOLK—Virginia Nell “Ginny” Denison, 71, passed away February 4, 2012, at Nansemond Pointe Health and Rehab Center.

Born in Alabama, she was the daughter of the late Agnes and Alvin T. Bailey.

Ginny was a former school bus driver for the Isle of Wight Public Schools, had a love of cake decorating and ran Cypress Springs Farm OEE with her husband.

Survivors include her loving husband, William B. Denison Sr.; son, Bill Denison, Jr. and wife, Dory; daughters, Tracie Felgentreu and husband, Kevin, and Dena Tezel and husband, Turan; grandchildren, Robi Jones, Alex and Jason Stoermann, Alyssa and Aaron Felgentreu, and Yasemin Tezel; and two great-grandchildren Dalton and Emmy.

A memorial service will be on Friday, February 8, 2013, at 7 p.m. by Pastor Matt Stewart in the R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home and Crematory, 509 W. Washington Street, Suffolk, Va.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made in Virginia’s name to the American Heart Association, 4217 Park Place Court, Glen Allen, Va., 23060, or the National Kidney Foundation, 1622 East Parham Road, Richmond, Va., 23228.
