Thomas James Holt, 40, was arrested and authorities are looking for Larry Gammon, 31, also of Petersburg, for the 10 a.m. break-in, said Major Gene Drewery.

It’s believed the men broke into the building near Trinity Church Road to steal scrap metal to sell for recycling, Drewery said.

A passerby notified authorities after seeing a vehicle parked outside the plant, he said.

Both were charged with breaking and entering, possession of burglary tools, grand larceny, grand larceny stealing copper products, petty larceny, entering property with intent to do damage and conspiracy to commit larceny. Holt also was charged with possession of marijuana.
