NORFOLK—Fannie Mildred Tucker, 80, of Capron died Sunday, Jan. 13, at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, Norfolk.

A service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday at Pine Level Baptist Church in Capron.

Mrs. Tucker was employed by the Southampton County Public Schools for 34 years as a bus driver and custodian.

She is survived by sons Frank Tucker Jr. and Glenwood Tucker, both of Capron, Marvin Tucker of Newport News, and Charles and Don Tucker, both of Emporia; daughters, Irish Mason and Joan Whitehead, both of Capron, and Teresa Powell and Patricia Boone, both of Emporia; one sister, Marie Whitehead of Yale; and brothers, Fitzhugh Leigh Jr. of Brooklyn, Andrew Whitehead and Isaiah Jordan, both of New York, and Walter Goodwyn of Virginia Beach.
