KING WILLIAM—Four Franklin wrestlers picked up two wins each during a Wednesday match against King and Queen, and King William.

They were sophomore Alson Cromwell in the 152-pound class, senior Nathan Jones, 160; senior Zack Hopkins, 195; and sophomore heavyweight Anthony Lott-Davis.

Senior Xavier Freeman won against King and Queen in the 138-pound class.

Franklin defeated King and Queen 30-24 and lost to host King William 54-30.

The Broncos were minus seven wrestlers due to SOL testing.

“We did all right,” said Franklin Coach Bull Johnson.

Franklin will travel to Southampton High School for a 5 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 22, match that also involves Northampton.
