WAKEFIELD—Darnel Robert Gay, 49, died Jan. 6, 2013, at his home.

He is survived by his mother, Louise Smith; and sister, Gwen Mason.

A funeral was held Saturday at the World Outreach Worship Center, Newport News.

Whiting’s Funeral Home, Williamsburg, handled arrangements.
