NORFOLK—Former Boykins resident Cassandra “Sandy” Smith Conner, 68, died Jan. 10, 2013, at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.

A funeral will be held 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 14, at Cypress Chapel Christian Church, 1891 Cypress Chapel Road, Suffolk, with burial in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends 4 to 5:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 13, at R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home and Crematory, 509 W. Washington St., Suffolk.

Mrs. Conner retired from Planters Peanuts.

She is survived by husband, Percy McCoy, and children, Susan Talton and Michael Conner, all of Suffolk; and sisters, Linda Johnson and Teresa Powell.
