Carolyn Wills Bryant

Carolyn Wills Bryant, 79, of Zuni passed away on Wednesday, January 2, 2013.

Mrs. Bryant was a lifelong member of Tucker Swamp Baptist Church and a well-respected business woman who was the owner of Cindee’s Beauty Salon, Sandra’s House of Flowers and a family catering service.

For the last 25 years, she was a real estate agent and broker for Century 21 Gold Market Realty.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Amos Floyd and Mary Herrin Wills; and brothers, Floyd Wills and Alvah Wills Sr.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 60 years, James E. Bryant. Sr.; her children, Sandra Brinkley and husband, Cliff, Cindee Kissinger and husband, and Philip, James E. Bryant Jr. and wife, Kelly; grandchildren, Mary Beth Gribble, Jason Brinkley, Phil Kissinger, Carole Forrest, Katie Yadusky, Becki Sharpe, Walt Bryant, Sadie Bryant and Bryant Atkins; seven great-grandchildren; foster son, Wesley Atkins and wife Teresa; special nephew, Barry Wills; sister, Hilda Purviance and husband, Sam; sister-in-law, Alice Nell Wills; and numerous special nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Friday, January 4, 2013, at Tucker Swamp Baptist Church from 6 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held Saturday, January 5, 2013, at 2 p.m. at the church with Rev. Curtis Faison, Rev. Philip Kissinger and Rev. Steve Bradshaw officiating.

Burial will follow in Tucker Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to the Tucker Swamp Baptist Church Benevolence Committee where Carolyn served faithfully for many years.
