SMH New Year’s baby born Jan. 2

FRANKLIN—Southampton Memorial Hospital’s first baby of the new year was born one hour after midnight.
Cheryl Guthrie, a licensed practical nurse at SMH, gave birth to a son at 1 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 2. Wyatt Roman Arnold weighed 4 pounds, 10 ounces and was 18 inches long.
