FRANKLIN—Mrs. Marie A. Vincent of Railroad Avenue passed Dec. 27, 2012, while a patient in Sentara Obici Hospital in Suffolk, Va. She was born in Fairfax County, Va., to Janie Jeffries on Aug. 20, 1940. Marie was a member of the Franklin Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, and retired from Verizon.

Marie was preceded in death by her mother, one daughter, Ada Robinson and brother, Louis.

She is survived by her husband, Ralph Vincent Sr.; daughter, Marie Robinson; sons, Wendell L. Robinson, George Robinson III and Gregory Robinson; one step-daughter, Rhonda Vincent; two step-sons, Ralph Vincent Jr. and Keith Vincent; brothers, Harry, Ernest Jr., Curtis and Thomas; nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.

A memorial service will be held at the Franklin Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 212 Morton St., Franklin. Her remains will be available for viewing on Thursday, Jan. 3, from noon to 6 p.m., and Friday, Jan. 4, from 9 a.m. to noon and 2 to 4 p.m. in the chapel of William M. Johnson and Sons Funeral Home Inc., 224 South Main St., Franklin, VA.
