FRANKLIN—Alma Ruth Vaughan Rideout, 87, of Walters Highway, died Dec. 28, 2012.

Mrs. Rideout was co-owner of the former Holland-Rideout Funeral Home.

Survivors include four children, Robert W. Rideout Jr. (Judy) of Richmond, Benjamin V. Rideout of Franklin, C. Bruce Rideout (Tricia) of Suffolk, and Ruth R. Whitley (Ed) of Franklin.

The funeral was held Monday in Beaver Dam Baptist Church. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

Sturtevant Funeral Home, Suffolk is handling arrangements.
