SUFFOLK—Cynthia Bunch Dundlow, 46, found peace in the home of her daughter on December 27, 2012, after battling cancer since 2005.

Cindy was born to the late Wilbur and Virtley Bunch of Suffolk, Va., on April 21, 1966.

After being diagnosed with cancer seven years ago, Cindy never gave up. She never complained, maintaining a brave and cheerful outlook of an optimistic future — even through countless radiation and chemotherapy treatments.

She continued to raise her three children and be involved in their lives. Her strong will to live, unwavering faith in God, and the love and prayers of family and friends carried her through the past seven years.

Cindy was a loving daughter, wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend.

She is survived by her three children, Kimberly Sherman and her fiancé Justin Bailey, Tommy Dundlow III and Kristina Dundlow; her brother, Chris Bunch; and her husband, Ray Dundlow.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, December 31, 2012, at 4 p.m. at R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home and Crematory, 509 W. Washington St., Suffolk, Va., by the Rev. Craig Janney.

The family will receive friends following the service.

The family is deeply grateful for the outpouring of love, prayers and support in many heartfelt forms.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society, Sentara Hospice Service of Suffolk, Va., or Vident Hospice of Ahoskie, N.C.
