ISLE OF WIGHT—Windsor Middle School Assistant Principal Kimberly Vick has been named assistant principal at Smithfield Middle School.

Isle of Wight County School officials refused to provide information on recent personnel changes until The Tidewater News filed a Freedom of Information Act request. Such information is public record.

Vick’s new salary will be $63,000, said Kenita Bowers, coordinator for community affairs and media relations for the school district.

The former assistant principal at Smithfield resigned in November for a new job. Vick’s position at Windsor will be advertised after the winter break.
