FRANKLIN—Franklin High School graduates James Holemon pumped in 21 points and Valdez Artis added 17 to lead the Broncos to a 93-86 win during the Second Annual Franklin-Southampton Alumni Game on Saturday.

Held at Franklin High School, it was standing-room only for the fundraiser, which benefits the Lending a Hand Foundation and FHS track team.

For the Southampton High School team, 2012 graduate Nick Doyle led with 29 points followed by former NFL player Greg Scott with 11.

“The game went great, and the attendance was far greater than last year,” said event organizer Lakenneth Kindred. “This event gives people something to do that is good for the whole family.”

The event included a two-quarter, co-ed game and three-point contest, which Artis won.
