MURFREESBORO, N.C.—Byron “Bear” Sears, 58, formally of Como, N.C., died Dec. 8, 2012, in Baltimore.

He is survived by his wife, Velinda of Franklin; a son, Antwan Woodley of Franklin; and a daughter, Stephanie Hill of Baltimore.

Memorial services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 22 at Hunter’s Funeral Home, Murfreesboro, N.C.
