Ms. Genese Ann Holmes, 54, of Chesapeake, Va., peacefully made her earthly departure on Friday, December 7, 2012, while a patient at the Chesapeake Regional Medical Center.

A Celebration of Life was held 11 a.m. Monday, December 17, 2012, at Solid Rock Church of God in Christ, 2100 Vicker Avenue, Chesapeake, Va. She was laid to rest in the serenity of St. Luke Cemetery in Chesapeake, Virginia.

Viewing was at the church Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
