SUFFOLK—Joseph “Jimmy” James Simpson Jr., 69, died Dec. 13, 2012.

The funeral will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec.16, at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3515 Robs Drive, Suffolk. Burial will follow in Holly Lawn Cemetery.

Mr. Simpson retired from the Norfolk Naval Shipyard as a nuclear pipefitter.

He is survived by his wife, Becky Simpson; sons, Randy Simpson of Florida and Ashley Simpson of Suffolk; sister Judy Garris of Windsor; and brothers Bobby Simpson of Suffolk and Donnie Simpson of Chesapeake.
