WAKEFIELD—Christine Billups Lanier, 59, of Wakefield,Va., passed away December 12, 2012, at Sentara Obici Hospital surrounded by her family.

She was the daughter of Lizzie Mae Turner Billups and the late William Billups.

Besides her mother, Christine is survived by her husband, Robin A. Lanier; daughters, Chrystal A. Lanier and Kimberly R. Lanier; brother, Milton A. Billups and wife, Carol; and sister, Shirley M. Billups.

A memorial service will be held at the R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home and Crematory, 11414 General Mahone Highway, Wakefield, Va., on Friday, December 14, 2012, at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Willis Switzer officiating.

Burial will be private.
