MURFREESBORO, N.C.—George Ashley “Buck” Liverman, 69, of Murfreesboro, N.C., died Friday, Dec. 7, 2012, at Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation in Ahoskie, N.C.

A service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11, at Meherrin Baptist Church Cemetery.

A lifelong resident of Hertford County, Mr. Liverman owned V.J. Liverman & Son in Murfreesboro.

Survivors include his wife, Ellen Bristow Liverman; mother, Juliette Porter Liverman of Murfreesboro; children, Jenny Bennett of Murfreesboro, Jeany Flythe and Jack Liverman, both of Roanoke Rapids, N.C., and Jeff Liverman of Annapolis, Md.; and sister, Crystal Whitley of Murfreesboro.
