Lloyd P. Oldham

SEDLEY—Lloyd P. Oldham, 78, passed away December 9, 2012, at VCU Medical Center, Richmond.

Mr. Oldham was a native of Pinehurst, N.C., a son of the late Donald and Fannie Bosworth Oldham.

He was predeceased by his wife of 50 years, Shirley B. Oldham; two sisters, Raybe and Frances; and three brothers, William, Vernon and Byron.

Mr. Oldham was a retired paper maker from Union Camp Corporation, a member of Sedley Baptist Church and an Army veteran.

Left to cherish his memory are three daughters, Mitz O. Yetter (Keith), Robin O. Nelson and Laura O. Vasser (Douglas); four brothers, Donald (Shirley), Ralph (Frances), Richard (Shaw) and Wayne (Donie); seven grandchildren, Crystal, Jennifer, Rheanna, Raymond, Lloyd Travis, Carla and Cassidy; and two great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, December 14, 2012, at Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, with the Rev. James Foreman officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in Rosemont Cemetery, Sedley, Va.
