ISLE OF WIGHT—Isle of Wight County has hired Brandy Day as its director of human resources.

Day, who will be paid $80,736 annually, has been the human resources supervisor for Williamsburg-James City County Public Schools since 2008 and was the school district’s human resources coordinator four years prior to that.

She also worked in human resources for Goodman & Co., Riverside Regional Medical Center and Aerotek.

Day has a master’s of education degree from William and Mary College and a bachelor’s of arts degree in government and international politics from George Mason University.
