SUFFOLK—Waverly native Daphne Sheffield Chapman, 96, died Dec. 9, 2012, at Lake Prince Woods in Suffolk.

Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 12, at Holly Lawn Cemetery in Suffolk. Visitation will follow at Lake Prince Woods, 100 Anna Good Way, Suffolk.

Survivors include a son, William Chapman III of Duck, N.C.
