CAPRON—Queen “Liz” Jefferson, 65, of Capron died Dec. 5, 2012.

A funeral will be held noon Monday, Dec. 10, at William M. Engram Sr. Memorial Chapel in Franklin.

A Southampton County native, she was a domestic worker.

She is survived by her husband, James Jefferson of Capron; brothers James Ford of Capron and Edward Tillery of Newport News; and sisters Dorothy Ford and Violet Morgan, both of Emporia, Pamela Ford of Savannah and Vanessa Ford of New York.
