COURTLAND—Annie Lee Scott, 79, of Courtland died Dec. 5, 2012.

A funeral will be held noon Saturday, Dec. 8, at Bryant Baptist Church in Courtland.

A Southampton County native, Mrs. Scott retired from Chambers Elementary School after 35 years of service.

She is survived a daughter, Thelma Johnson of Franklin; sisters, Wendy Joyner, Annette Dillard of Courtland and Diane Goodwyn of Virginia Beach; and brothers William and Marlan Joyner, both of Courtland.
