ROCKY MOUNT, N.C.—Sallie Johnson Lewis, 67, of Roanoke Rapids, N.C., and formerly of Southampton County, died Monday, Dec. 3, 2012, at Life Care Hospital in Rocky Mount, N.C.

Mrs. Lewis worked for Halifax Regional Medical Center in Roanoke Rapids for over 20 years.

A funeral will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, at Hockaday Funeral & Cremation Service in Roanoke Rapids. Burial will follow in Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7, at the funeral home.
