Rudolph Edwards Sr., 81, of Suffolk died Friday, Nov. 30, 2012, at Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation Center.

A funeral will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, at Piney Grove Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

A visitation will be held at Crocker Funeral Home 7:30 to 9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7.

The owner of Edwards Farms, he is survived by his wife, Shirley Edwards; daughters, Shirron Brisseau at Okinawa, Japan, Shirnell Baker of Newport News and Shirnita Davis of Windsor; and a son, Rudolph Edison Edwards Jr. of Suffolk.
