SEDLEY—Joseph Brown Sr., 73, of Sedley died Nov. 27, 2012.

A funeral will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, at William M. Engram Sr. Memorial Chapel.

Mr. Brown was a postal worker in the Washington, D.C. area and worked as a truck driver.

He is survived by his children Joenita and Lisa Brown, Joseph Brown Jr. and Virginia Brown-Davis; sisters Joyce Lane of Ivor, Barbara James of Maryland, Catherine Hood and Hazel Gainous, both of Norfolk, and Lorraine Brown and Gloria Simmons, both of Suffolk; and brothers Earl and Eugene Brown, both of Norfolk.
