LAWRENCEVILLE— Isle of Wight Academy senior Nathan Sivertson scored 30 points in the Chargers’ second straight win on Tuesday.

The Chargers defeated Brunswick Academy 78-60 in a non-conference game.

“I am pleased with our effort last night especially on offense,” said IWA Coach Benjamin Vaughn.

Senior Austin Rogers added 19 points and senior R.J. Wells added 12.

“We lost five of our seven starters last year,” Vaughn said. “We are still in the process of getting to know each other gelling together.”

The Chargers will host Portsmouth Christian at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30, to open Metro Athletic Conference play.
