IVOR—Joseph Edward “Skinner” Pittman Jr., 65, died Nov. 24, 2012.

A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28, at Mill Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the home of Betsy Pittman in Ivor.

A Southampton County native, he is survived by his children, Joseph Pittman III, and Franklin and Catherine Pittman; and sisters Teresa Dickerson and Betsy Anne Pittman.
