CAPRON—A Capron man was killed after he crashed the car he was driving and was thrown at 12:15 a.m. Wednesday, said Virginia State Police First Sgt. Greg Jackson.

Joshua Moss, 28, lost control of his 2002 Chevy Malibu on Barrow Road near Friday Artis Road between Capron and Drewryville and overcorrected before the car rolled, Jackson said.

Moss, who was alone, was not wearing a seatbelt.

“The investigator is still trying to piece things together,” Jackson said.
