FRANKLIN—A 15-year-old Franklin boy was arrested for a Friday break-in after he was caught leaving a home with a television and remote control, Franklin police said.

Police at 11:30 a.m. were called to a home in the 300 block of Edwards Street after a neighbor reported the alleged burglary, said Lt. Tim Whitt. That’s when police said they saw the suspect leaving the home.

He allegedly told police about other items he stole from the same home, which were found in a vacant home on Pretlow Street. They included another television, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii, controllers for video games and video games.

The youth, who lives in the 700 block of Bolling Street, was taken to Juvenile Detention Center in Chesapeake.
