William “Bobby” Robert Carr

SUFFOLK—William “Bobby” Robert Carr, 80, of Suffolk passed away November 7, 2012.
He was born in Nansemond County, Va., the son of the late Theressa Luke Carr and Joshua James Carr.
He was predeceased by his wife, Katherine Anne Jordan Carr; daughter-in-law, Karyn Hall Carr; great-granddaughter, Hannah; sister, Irene; and brothers Wilson, Edward, James, Junior and Stanley.
Bobby retired from E.V. Williams Construction Co.
He was a member of Western Branch Baptist Church and the Sons of Confederate Veterans Tom Smith Camp #1702 of Suffolk, Va.
Bobby is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Elaine and Brian Spivey of Carrsville; sons and daughters-in-law, Benjamin James Carr Sr. of Suffolk and William P. and Sammantha Carr of Windsor; grandchildren, Mitzi, Shannon, Eugene, Sheila, Ben Jr., Elizabeth, Ryan, Lilly, and Joe; great-grandchildren, Phillip Jr., Edith, J.P., Champ, Alyza, Carmen, Noah and Logan; sister, Daisy Bell Pope; brothers, Miles Carr and wife, Barbara, Lee Carr and Dougy Carr, all of Suffolk; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held Monday, November 12, 2012, at 11 a.m. at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. Friends may join the family Sunday for a time of visitation from 7-8 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory.
