COURTLAND—Deacon Oscar S. Boyd of Medicine Springs Road, Courtland, died Oct. 29, 2012. The funeral will be held at noon Saturday, Nov. 3, at Mount Tabor Baptist Church with the pastor, Rev. Jeremiah Cole, delivering the message of comfort. Interment will be in Pine Level Church Cemetery. A traditional service with dignity will be conducted by William M. Johnson & Sons Funeral Home, Inc., 224 South Main Street, Franklin.
