Pearl Bryant Jones, 76, of Windsor died Oct. 28, 2012.

The funeral will be held 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 1, at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory in Suffolk. A time of visitation will follow after the service at the funeral home.

Burial will be private at a later date at Colosse Baptist Church Cemetery.

A Southampton County native, Mrs. Jones is survived by her husband, James “Buddy” Wilson Jones Sr.; children Deborah Cummings, Kathy Shaffer and James “J.W.” Jones Jr., all of Windsor; and siblings Alice Joyner of Carrollton, Ellen Seymour of Chesapeake and Daniel Wells of Smithfield.
