FRANKLIN—The Cover 3 Foundation is sponsoring a canned fruit food drive for its C3 Kid’s Meals program at schools and businesses throughout Hampton Roads.

The drive will run from Thursday, Nov. 1, through Thursday, Dec. 20.

The meal site, school or business that donates the most items will receive an afternoon visit from former NFL player Greg Scott, founder and chief executive officer of Cover 3 Foundation.

The Kid’s Meals and Snack Program provides nutritious snacks and meals to 1,800 children in after-school programs, summer feeding sites and during the school year in Southampton, Greensville and Sussex counties and the cities of Chesapeake, Norfolk, Suffolk, Emporia and Franklin.
