WAVERLY—Mildred S. “Big Big” Hill, 83, of Wakefield died Oct. 21, 2012, at Waverly Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.

A funeral will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, at Bryant Baptist Church, Capron. Burial will be in the Helping Hands Cemetery Courtland.

She is survived by children Diana Jones, Margie Brandon and Elisha P. Hill III, all of Waverly; Patricia, Gracie, Edward and Reginial Hill, all of Wakefield; Joseph Hill of Suffolk; Mildred Taylor of Petersburg; and Constance Jones of Huntsville, Ala.

Peace Bland Funeral Home, Waverly, is handling arrangements.
