VERNON HILL—Deacon Benjamin Farmer, 87 of Vernon Hill died Oct. 24, 2012.

Funeral services will be noon Monday, Oct. 29, at White Stone Pentecostal Church, Sutherlin. The family is receiving friends at the home of Bernard and Delios D. Wilkins, 1413 Elliott Ave, South Boston.

Public viewing will be noon to 6 p.m. Sunday at Jeffress Funeral Home, 2000 N. Main St., South Boston.

Survivors include a daughter, Lillian Adell Johnson of Courtland.
