Theodore Everett, 86, of Suffolk died Friday, Oct. 19, 2012, at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.

Services will be held noon Thursday, Oct. 25, at Canaan Baptist Church, Suffolk. Burial will be at Canaan Church Cemetery.

A native of Southampton County, Mr. Everett is survived by his wife Mary; son Raymond; daughters Delphine Taylor, Veta Cowling, Vanessa Newsome, Yvette Artis, Velma Taylor, Cressandra Felton, Frances Cohen and Sharon Hardin; brother Timothy Everett; and sisters Georgie Pope, Thelma Hicks, Dorothy Cohen and Inez Lassiter.
