WINDSOR—John Gerard McFadden, 75, died Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2012, at his home in Windsor.

A service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, at Colonial Funeral Home, Smithfield. The family will receive friends following the service. Burial will take place at a later date.

Mr. McFadden retired from Ingalls Shipbuilding in Mississippi and then worked part-time for Community Electric, Windsor.

He is survived by his wife, Marie; and daughter, Donna Jones.
