COURT HOUSE—Franklin improved to 8-0 after defeating King & Queen Central High School 48-0 on Friday during a non-district game.

Latrell Lane scored two touchdowns for the Broncos, while leading the team in rushing with 72 yards on 7 carries. Alison Cromwell and Travis Brown both rushed for 65 years, carrying the ball 10 and 6 times, respectively.

Bronco quarterback J’Corey Williams was one for three passing, including on for 45 yards to Corey Porter for a touchdown.

Angel Padilla went 6-for-7 in extra points for Franklin.

The Broncos carried the ball 36 times for 305 yards, while King and Queen rushed for 58 yards on 16 carries and completed five of 19 passes for 72 yards.
