COVINGTON, Ga.—Former Murfreesboro, N.C., resident Nancy Rowell “Polly” Forbes, 89, died Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2012, at The Benton House in Covington, Ga.

A service was held on Sunday at Murfreesboro Baptist Church. Burial followed in Riverside Cemetery.

Mrs. Forbes is survived by her daughter, Joan Chambers of Social Circle, Ga.; and a son, Tommy Forbes of Murfreesboro.
