HENRICO, N.C.—Former Franklin resident Garry Jay Lynn, 69, of Henrico, N.C., died Monday, Oct. 8, 2012, at his home.

Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 12, at Greenwood Cemetery in Dillon, S.C.

Mr. Lynn worked for Shell Furniture in Roanoke Rapids, N.C.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley; children Cindy Guston of Norfolk, Angie Mickler of Green Coast Springs, Fla., and Garry Jay Lynn II of Ahoskie, N.C.; and siblings Elmire Kishbaug of Bloomburg, Juanita Young of Berwick, Pa., and Donald Lynn of Los Angeles.

Askew Funeral and Cremation Services in Roanoke Rapids is handling arrangements.
