BOYKINS—Asphy Turner, 92, died Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2012, at Courtland Convalescent Center.

He is survived by a son, Asphy Sidney Turner of Midlothian and a daughter, Joyce Turner Lewis of Charlottesville.

Funeral services will be held noon Monday, Oct. 15, at Pleasant Plain Baptist Church in Drewryville. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
